Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday inaugurated the much-awaited Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project.
At the inaugural ceremony, the prime minister told the gathering that BRT was “the best metro bus project in the country”.

The project was delayed several times and its execution cost went up many times due to frequent delays. Also, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has been facing a tremendous pressure from the opposition political parties due to delay in launch of the transport project.
Lady MPAs of KPK Assembly last day visited BRT and had a test drive.
They were all impressed by it's infrastructure and how advanced it is. And also how beautifully it has connected the whole city.
