The University of the Punjab (PU) has announced that examinations of various postgraduate classes will commence from September 17, 2020, subject to the government policy on the COVID-19 pandemic.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
A delegation from the University of the Punjab led by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar paid homage to the National Poet of Pakistan, Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal and laid a wreath on his grave to mark the 74th Independence Day of Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Niaz said, “I congratulate all my faculty members, alumni, employees and students of the PU on the 73rd Independence Day of the country.
