The University of Health Sciences (UHS) in Lahore hosted a ceremony to mark the 74th Independence Day of Pakistan on August 14, 2020.
On this occasion, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Jinnah Campus, Kala Shah Kaku, where Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Javed Akram hoisted the national flag.
Also, Dr Javed Akram planted a sapling at the campus on the Independence Day in line with the prime minister’s Clean and Green Pakistan initiative.

Earlier on the eve of the national day, the UHS wished Pakistanis a Happy Independence Day. The UHS wrote on its Twitter page, “We are a nation, built on harmony, development, prosperity, and peace, achieving milestones for a better future. Happy Independence Day 2020.”
