Cricket lovers and experts in Pakistan and elsewhere reacted angrily to the controversial no-ball that was given by the umpires in Sunday’s crucial T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and India in Melbourne.

Chasing the 160-run target set by Pakistan in 20 overs at the loss of 8 wickets, India won the match by four wickets on the last ball of the 20th over at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

As soon as the match between Pakistan and India concluded, social media users started criticising the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the umpires for allegedly doing everything possible to favour India in the match against Pakistan.

Brad Hogg, who introduces himself has Australian international cricketer, media presenter, commentator, speaker and coach, raised questions about the no ball. Taking to Twitter, he asked, “Why was no ball not reviewed, then how can it not be a dead ball when Kohli was bowled on a free hit.”
