ISLAMABAD – Ousted prime minister Imran Khan announced on Tuesday that his party would begin the long march towards Islamabad from Lahore’s Liberty Chowk on October 28.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday evening accompanied by party leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Mian Aslam Iqbal, Khan called the long march his party’s “battle for real freedom”.
Later, Khan said in his address to the Oxford Union, “The march will show where the people of Pakistan stand. I feel the long march will be the biggest protest of our country.”
