KANDY – The Asia Cup encounter between Pakistan and India ended in “no result” due to rain in Kandy, Sri Lanka. However, Pakistan made its way to the Super Fours despite no result of Saturday’s match.
Earlier, Pakistani bowlers restricted India to 266 despite an impressive performance by Indian middle-order batsmen Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan.
Pakistani bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf launched a successful assault on the Indian batting order and no batsman other than Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan could withstand the high-voltage bowling attack.
