Maya Ali learnt hard lessons in painful times


Pakistan actress and model Maya Ali has thanked her family and friends for supporting her and keeping her in good spirits in “painful times”.
She took to Instagram to share what she went through the last month, how she dealt with it and who were the people who kept her going in the challenging times. In her latest Instagram post, she has shared her picture wearing a collar and holding a cup of tea in her hand. And the caption with the picture reads: “Last month was full of surprises and a lot happened. Life taught me hard lessons and I accepted all the challenges. I am very grateful to all the people who were there physically and who sent me a lot of duas. I am thankful to my friends and family who did their best to bring a smile on my face in painful times. They made sure that I fought back, and got rid of all the worries. “Zindagi aik baar milti hai, jeo bharpoor tareeqey se. Special thanks to all my fans for their beautiful wishes and messages. I’ll definitely come live soon. Love you all.”


Lesser know by her original name Maryam Tanveer but popular by her stage name Maya Ali, she has been active in the Pakistani showbiz industry since 2012 as an actress, model, VJ and host. She got fame from her roles in Pakistani TV serials like Durr-e-Shehwar (2012), Aik Nayee Cinderella (2012–2013), Aun Zara (2013), Khoya Khoya Chand (2013), Ranjish Hi Sahi (2013–2014), Meri Zindagi Hai Tu (2013–2014), Shanakht (2014), Ladoon Mein Pali (2014–2015), Zid (2014–2015), Mera Naam Yousuf Hai (2015), Diyar-e-Dil (2015), Mann Mayal (2016) and Sanam (2016–2017).
Maya Ali made her film debut with Teefa in Trouble opposite Ali Zafar in 2018. It was an action-drama film and was a box-office hit commercially. In 2019, she got the lead role in Parey Hut Love, a romantic-comedy film, opposite Sheheryar Munawar. This movie too was a success commercially. Both these movies earned Maya Ali the nomination for the Best Actress at Lux Style Awards.
