The death toll in Friday’s train accident in the eastern Indian state of Odisha rose to 238 on Saturday morning. More than 900 people were reported injured in the incident.
The collision took place in Odisha’s Balasore at about 19:00 local time on Friday when the Howrah Superfast Express, which operates between Bangalore and Howrah, West Bengal, collided with the Coromandel Express, which runs from Kolkata to Chennai.
