Star Pakistani batsman Imam Ul Haq on Saturday tied the knot with his long-time “best friend” Anmol Mehmood.
Anmol Mehmood is a Pakistani doctor currently based in Oslo, Norway. The couple shared some beautiful photos from their post-nikah shoot.
Imam took to Instagram to express his feelings on his big day and wrote, “Today, we’ve not only become partners for life but have also solidified the bond of best friendship, which has always been the foundation of our love story. The bride and groom opted for pastel hues for their big day. Anmol donned a pastel pink saree embellished with silver-gold stones on embroidery. She covered her head with the same colour intricately embroidered dupatta.
Pakistan’s acclaimed brand Zainab Salman Studio designed Anmol Mehmood’s dress and the elusive gold and pink jewellery added glam to her look. She chose minimalist makeup for her special day in line with the ongoing fashion trends. Renowned makeup artist Zahra Sarfraz at GlamGency in Lahore did Anmol’s makeup for her special day.
The star cricketer Imam-ul-Haq donned a pastel green sherwani with matching shoes and a turban. The sherwani had a delicate embroidery and it added a touch of elegance to his look. He wore double-bridged black shades making him look even more dapper on his big day.
