Huawei Pakistan on Tuesday hosted a Digital Week in Islamabad, where they showcased the latest technologies and solutions unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The event aimed to bring together various stakeholders involved in creating a fully connected world, emphasizing physical infrastructure for greener, sustainable, and scalable technologies, as well as digitalization through Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, 5G and 5.5G.

Representatives from telecom, financial, government, and commercial sectors participated in the Digital Week, engaging in discussions on Cloud adoption, 5G transformation, and AI proliferation.

Huawei’s vision is to enable digital connectivity for every individual, home, and organization, striving for a fully connected and intelligent world. With a global workforce exceeding 207,000 across 170+ countries and regions, Huawei allocates 55% of its personnel to research and development, resulting in over 140,000 active patents worldwide.

Green solutions and low-carbon alternatives for physical infrastructure were highlighted, with a focus on green antennas for efficient 5.5G networks and solar power solutions to minimize environmental impact.
