ISLAMABAD – Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaar ul Haq Kakar said on Tuesday he had directed the authorities to postpone the MDCAT examinations until September 10, 2023.
Taking to the microblogging site X on Tuesday evening, Kakar wrote, “I have directed the relevant authorities to get the MDCAT examinations postponed until 10th September 2023. This decision has been taken, keeping in consideration that the students will get more time to prepare for the medical colleges’ entrance test.”

The Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) is conducted annually by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) as entrance test for the aspiring doctors. This year’s MDCAT was scheduled to take place on August 27, 2023.
