The caretaker government in Pakistan on Friday announced a significant decrease in the prices of petrol and diesel in the country.
According to the Finance Ministry, the government decreased the petrol price by Rs14 per litre. The new price of petrol in Pakistan will be Rs267.34 per litre. The price of diesel has been decreased by Rs13.50 per litre and the new diesel price in Pakistan will be Rs276.21 per litre. The price of light diesel has been decreased by Rs11.29 per litre and the new price will be Rs164.64 per litre. The price of kerosene oil has been decreased by Rs10.14 per litre. The new price of kerosene oil will be Rs191.2 per litre. The new prices of petroleum products will be effective from 12:00am, December 16.
