The federal cabinet of Pakistan on Tuesday approved the new political map of Pakistan, showing Indian-occupied Kashmir (IOK) as part of Pakistan.
According to sources, this new political map of Pakistan will be presented to the United Nations.
Unveiling the new political map of Pakistan at the federal cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said time would come when this new map would be the map of Pakistan. He congratulated the nation on inauguration of the new political map of Pakistan and described the day (August 4, 2020) as a historic day. This new political map of Pakistan will be now presented to the world and the federal cabinet has approved it, he said. He said the new political map of Pakistan has been approved unanimously by the entire Kashmiri and Pakistani leadership. He said that the solution to the Kashmir problem lies in the resolutions of the United Nations. He said that Kashmir would become part of Pakistan and this new political map of Pakistan was the first step in that direction.
The prime minister said that India committed a crime against Kashmiris on August 5, 2019 and robbed them of their fundamental rights. He said that India wanted to make Kashmiris a minority in their own state. He said he was very happy about the inauguration of the new political map of Pakistan because he has been listening about the freedom of Kashmir since his childhood. He said his personal experience has taught him that one must dream before reaching the destination. He said he wanted to become a cricketer and he became a cricketer. Then, he said, he wanted to build a cancer hospital and he was successful in making this dream a reality. He said that Pakistan would continue to remind the United Nations that it must honour its promise about the freedom of Kashmir.
