BENGALURU – Pakistan on Saturday won the 35th match of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 against New Zealand by 21 runs.
Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first. Batting first, New Zealand put up a huge total of 401 runs at the end of the 50-over innings at the loss of five wickets. Chasing the target, Pakistan were at 200 in 25 overs at the loss of just one wicket when rain disrupted the game for the second time and Pakistan were declared winner on the basis of the DLS method.
