Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal said on Wednesday that his government would take up with the federation all issues facing the province at the upcoming meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) in Islamabad.
Talking to the media after a session of the Balochistan Assembly in Quetta, Kamal said there would be no compromise on the interests of the province and his party would take all opposition political parties along on issues facing the province.
The Balochistan chief minister said that CII was an important forum of the country and it would take unanimous decisions on most issues. He said that four or five critical issues facing Balochistan would be discussed compressively at the CCI meeting. He said the government would consult the opposition on all provincial issues and people’s interests would be protected at any cost.
Kamal thanked members of the Balochistan Assembly for unanimously passing a resolution showing solidarity with the people of Kashmir. He said that people of Balochistan would continue to extend all their support to Kashmir and the Kashmiris.
