Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar announced on Sunday that he would not be able to run anymore as he was going to have a complete knee replacement.
He took to Twitter to make this announcement. He wrote, “My running days are over as am leaving for total knee replacement in Australia Melbourne very soon.”

Earlier in 2019, Shoaib underwent a successful reconstruction knee surgery in Melbourne.
Shoaib Akhtar, who is also doing commentary these days, is regarded as the fastest bowler in history of international cricket, having bowled a delivery at 161.3 kilometres/hour in a One Day International against England, a pool match during the 2003 Cricket World Cup.
