Talented Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane on Sunday shared a new video on photo sharing app Instagram showing her journey from the first day of Covid-19 infection until her recovery.
Taking to Instagram, Mawra wrote, “From the first morning I opened my eyes with boiling hot fever to finally going out for a walk with my parents…
“I’ve been on drips , antibiotics, steroids, syrups, nebulisers.. I’ve felt weak , vulnerable, irritable , annoyed , bloated , felt helpless yet been comforted , loved , taken care of by people who matter most — my friends & family, my mama & daddy and their endless efforts to cheer me up from the glass doors
“It was so hard for everyone and I tried to record a little bit here and there to be able to share with all of youuuuuu , to be able to inspire to turn to the bright page even when drowning in all the bad thoughts with help of your loved ones
“I just had to make this into an event too, so so grateful to be able to afford the rest & break , to realise the privilege & blessings, I know so many who are also suffering right now due to covid & it’s BAD, I pray that you find happiness in small things & solace & ease!
“Still recovering but just so so so much love & gratitude to all of uuuu.”
Earlier on Friday, Mawra came up with a good news. Taking to Instagram, she announced that she has beaten the virus and tested negative for Covid-19.
Looking fresh and upbeat, she posted a photo in a colourful dress designed by @udaanbyzainab and wrote, “a very very negative Jumma Mubarak #covidnegative ALHUMDULILLAH

“Life is filled with more plants & more oxygen while I still recover from the post covid lungs infection & lethargy, however I am so soooo grateful to all of uuuu for the prayers, especially my wonderful friends & family & my payarayyy amma daddy, a hard one for everyone
“A longgggg two week break I didn’t know I needed, now time to get back to workkkk InshaAllah.”
On July 12, Mawra shared the news of her catching the virus and wrote, “covid +ve , the only kind of positive i am not a fan of yet truly grateful to be home, to be comfortable, to be recovering, to be looked after —— Thankyou all who’ve been sending prayers , InshaAllah i shall be back on my feet & back to work.”

She added, “I have always been a very proud positive person however I tested positive for Covid today. I’ll be quarantining at the best place in the world — my home.”
“I know I shall recover very soon with everyone’s love and prayers. Love M,” she concluded.
Mawra is known for her roles in drama serials like Anghan, Sammi and Sabat.
In 2016, she made her way to Bollywood and featured in Indian movie “Sanam Teri Kasam” against famous Indian actor Harshvardhan Rane.
