Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Finance and Revenues Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh on Friday welcomed the Supreme Court’s verdict in the GIDC case.
Shaikh said in a tweet: “Welcoming decision of the Supreme Court settling long-standing GIDC case, and enabling the govt to recover GIDC stuck-up for last many years. I want to appreciate the good work of the govt team, especially office of the Attorney General, and the Finance & Petroleum ministries.”
The adviser also praised the federal government’s loan program for the youth. He said, “Important milestone: Govt has launched expanded Kamyab Jawan program to promote small businesses & employment. Increased maximum limit per applicant from Rs 50 lacs to Rs 2.5 cr & increased participating banks from 3 to 21. Will generate hundreds of thousands of jobs.”
