A number of renowned Pakistani film and TV celebrities accompanied by Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday visited several places in the Walled City of Lahore, one of the 52 dream destinations to love in 2021, as declared by New York Times.
The gathering was meant to celebrate the ranking of Lahore as the City to Love in 2021. The celebrities and the minister visited the Walled City of Lahore and the Lahore Fort. Film star Shan, singer and actor Ali Zafar and Kamran Lashari, director general at the Walled City of Lahore Authority, accompanied the federal minister to various historical places in the Walled City of Lahore.
Sayed Zulfiqar Bukhari, aka Zulfi Bukhari, entrepreneur, cricket enthusiast and special assistant to the prime minister for overseas Pakistanis and HRD, had tweeted about the new honour for Lahore a few weeks ago: “Lahore is among @nytimes top picks to visit in 2021.
